ITEMS DISCUSSED

  • Master Syllabi. The Master Syllabi will be used for each section and in SLO’s. Each section must have a Master Syllabi sent in by 12/1/06. Dean’s approval must be obtained in order to add or change existing verbiage. The skeleton of syllabi will be set up for each section in the future. Instructors will merely add the flesh.

There was an additional grant of $1.3 million to restore the Stuart Building. There is adequate construction of that building to support a second floor, which was never utilized prior to the storm.

It will take a minimum of $20 million to put us back to pre-Katrina status.

The $1 million given to us from the Bush-Clinton fund is what has kept us solvent this year. This is not money from the state or the federal government.

There is also a grant of $450,000 to renovate Bldg B and get PTEC back. Our technical programs are very important and everyone should, at this point, know how Dr. Warner feels about this matter.
