ITEMS DISCUSSED
There was an additional grant of $1.3 million to restore the Stuart Building. There is adequate construction of that building to support a second floor, which was never utilized prior to the storm. It will take a minimum of $20 million to put us back to pre-Katrina status. The $1 million given to us from the Bush-Clinton fund is what has kept us solvent this year. This is not money from the state or the federal government. There is also a grant of $450,000 to renovate Bldg B and get PTEC back. Our technical programs are very important and everyone should, at this point, know how Dr. Warner feels about this matter.
